As an award-winning Integrative Holistic Master Esthetician and speed waxer with more than 26 years of hands-on experience, I have seen how powerful a treatment room can be. It can be a place of healing and renewal, but only when clients feel truly supported.
DuraVie was born from that commitment: to raise the standard of care and offer professionals a tool that makes comfort, trust, and sustainability effortless.
The Turning Point
It happened on an ordinary day in the treatment room. I had just thrown out another towel ruined by wax, and frustration turned into clarity. The waste of money, laundry, and resources was staggering.
In that moment I decided that if no one else was going to create a better option, I would.
What I didn’t expect was how much more DuraVie offered than sustainability. Clients noticed the smooth texture, the secure drape that stayed in place, and the ease of relaxing without distraction.
For me, it was equally transformative. Wax wiped away in seconds, sanitization became effortless, and my workflow felt lighter.
One guest came for her first Brazilian and admitted she had never been covered before. She thought that was normal. I explained that protecting the body is part of professionalism. That simple shift changed her experience, and today she refuses to go elsewhere.
That was the turning point: DuraVie wasn’t just about reducing waste. It was about raising expectations for care.

DuraVie is more than a product to me. It represents the change I’ve wanted to see in our industry since my very first day in the treatment room.

Even the name carries that vision. DuraVie combines durable with vie, the French word for life. It stands for strength, longevity, and vitality.
