Changing the industry 

DuraVie was born in the treatment room, where Shanti had a vision of a reusable alternative in how wellness practitioners protect their clients skin during waxing, massage and body treatments. Shanti recognized early in her career how difficult it was to keep cotton towels stain free and was concerned about the environmental impact as she thought of over a million practitioners using this method for draping. “Every time I purchased new towels, threw out a stained towel, which was often, or spent over 3 hours doing laundry with bleach after a long day working in the studio I would think to my myself, there needs to be a better option”.
